Small bathroom refurb
Comments (7)I would deffo get rid of the hot water tank & cupboard. I think too small for separate shower and bath, therefore I'd go for shower over bath. P shaped ones give more room in the shower zone. Baths generally desired in family homes for resale. Always nice to have the option of a soak even if you don't use it very often....See MoreHelp with small bathroom please
Comments (16)Nessaj have you thought about the style, an overall look, of your new bathroom? From our experience that impacts the design very much. For example, if you’d like to have a more traditional, victorian style, than a big freestanding slipper bath would be the focal point and everything else would have to be designed around it. And on the other hand, if you like a more contemporary feel, then a big wet room enclosure form wall to wall would be the main feature. And all of that dictates the arrangement on the floorplan. We’d be happy to help you if you could tell us more about how your dream bathroom would look like. Comments (30)Hi guys, I am back again with a bathroom query, I have an image attached. I really don't like the current layout for this bathroom and I'm thinking if we move the toilet to the wall on the left under the sink and put the bathroom vanity where the toilet currently is so that this is the first thing the person sees when the door is open. Do you think this works? Again advice is hugely appreciated. I honestly had no idea finalising bathrooms would be so difficult, and the support I have received on Houzz has been the best of any professional I have met so far so thank you all! Any questions please do let me know!...See MoreHelp! Need organization ideas for a small bathroom with no storage
Comments (6)Hi Alexandra, this is a nice bathroom and you can do a lot with it. If you do not want to replace your fixtures with some built-in vanity etc, an under-sink cabinet can be a start. there are a few cabinets around, I like this one from Dunelm Adding shelves above the toilet would balance out the wall space. add some greenery or artificial plants, candles, stuck toilet paper, etc. A bigger mirror cabinet could be a good idea also. This IKEA Hemnes mirror cabinet is 98cm high and has a nice open shelf too. It is also quite pretty and can add a cozy look to a modern bathroom. TheseIKEA Hooks with suction cups are useful as you do not need to drill the walls. A few shower baskets with suction cups would look good in the shower.
