Help with colour matching suggestion

About to decorate my daughters room ( she is 16 a bit quirky and this is kind of a surprise ) I picked a colour theme that she will enjoy ( black,rose gold,burgundy and to add a pinch of lightness I was going to do a teeny bit of dusky pink however although she does not know the scheme colours she has begged me no pink I said even a tiny bit as a light neutral colour she said she would hate it , ive already purchased a big heavy burgundy fluffy bedding set burgundy curtains rose gold glitter wallpaper her big king bed is getting painted matt black but this is all rather bold and dark anyone suggest a colour i can use to tie it together and bring a smidge of light ?

Colours i thought looked great was this but she has expressed her detest at pink full stop please help ??

Could you share photos of the room ( you can add photos in comments under here.) might help for people to visualise where colours are going. Are you looking for a colour for walls? I think a pale-mid grey would suit those colours nicely. But I can see your thinking with a dusky pink. Maybe you could sneak in some small accessories in that colour...cushion, flowers, etc. (something that could be easily changed). Or maybe a rich teal or green or an ochre yellow for accents if she definitely doesn’t want pink. Some brass would also look fab....drawer handles, lamps and so on. Some inspiration pics below.

thank you so much for responding ,, yes it was for a wall colour i am doing her furniture matt black(drawers -bed- maybe wardrobe) with copper toned handles ive gone burgendy for the bedding and curtains , she has a built in dresser in a alcove i was looking at the penny epoxy resin as a idea ill try upload some pictures now :)

Here is the sofa I have bought the room floor plan (the snug area is the bottom left area) the corner sofa will go in the bottom left corner with the long but along the left wall -facing the fire and the short bit against the bottom wall (as in the picture) I have also attached a photo of the wall paper against the sofa - but obviously it is no where near to scale!!! Oh also flooring will be oak herringbone parquet and a slate hearth for the stove ... Any Help and advice would be much appreciated - Thankyou!!

I would go with a pale grey/beige colour. Something like a Farrow and Ball Dimity or Clunch would look lovely. I think you'll find it hard to match wallpaper so would stick with flat paint. I would then introduce a more definite accent colour and perhaps a new brighter rug. Oranges and mustard yellows would look nice with the sofa. Hope this helps

Hi there, Go for a plain colour without patterns to keep the sofa pattern the most eye catching feature, otherwise there is 'too much going on' when looking at the sofa. Here's an example I have come up with for you, although the fabric is not the same the colours are similar. Hope this helps! Sofas & Stuff.

You could try Jim Lawrence, they do lots of really beautiful lighting and have so many finishes to choose from so even if the pendant and wall lights aren't in exactly the same 'range' you can make sure the colour or finish matches so they tie in.
