Where did you source the cushions?

Where did they get the oversized cushions? I’m looking for outdoor cushions for an oversized chair as well.

First of all, you aren't clueless :) I would follow your gut and turn the couch to face the fireplace, put the TV on the oak box near the window, the armchair and side table over near the built in dresser, and the red cabinet between the two windows where the armchair was. I like both your pieces of art on the other side of the room. If the red cabinet is between the two windows, you might want to switch the vertical piece with the one that is on the wall above the dining table - just see how it looks. Actually, I think the bird painting could look really good above the fireplace - it will add visual height (as jonathan suggested) and brings some red to that side of the room and it has bits of black and charcoal to tie in the fireplace and the couch...... If you have the TV to the left of the fireplace, I'd move the map (I like it for personal reasons :). Anyway, you really want a mirror up there.... it's a bit tricky because the fireplace is off set. Something this shape would be fab because most other items in there are really angular, but this one is too big and the price is crazy: Otherwise maybe a couple of small mirrors that you can also off set and put in a group, which would also add height: I'd do three or five of different sizes and shapes. I actually like the rug size and colour - it ties in with the blinds and the taupe in two pieces of your art and has good texture. Add a few more cushions to the couch and armchair in a couple of different fabrics. Maybe some of these:

Cushions are definitely a nice addition to a bed when it comes to comfort and cosiness. Rich, fluffy cushions add to the feeling you want to have when you are in bed: you want to feel relaxed. Besides, although they can be a pain to remove before sleeping if you have too many of them, they upgrade your bed to the next design level. I have 5 cushions, all of them rectangular and fluffy. I have mixed the colours, patterns, and textures in order to make my bed stand out: a nice trick for that is to use white sheets, and vivid and colourful cushions to contrast with the whiteness of the bed. Plain velvety mustard yellow and fushia plain cushions mixed with green geometric patterns, ... I've got them all!

Hello Claudia, Speaking from an art on walls point of view, I'm loving the challenge, so I present a few choice pieces for the wall above your two armchairs that I think will be a happy compliment to your existing decor and furnishings: As regards the picture above your piano, the colours work well with your room but you don't like the subject, right? If that's the case, this consideration will have to be a decision based on what subject(s) you really like or are quite sentimental to, as opposed to colour matching an art piece just to fit in with the rest of the room. If you do play the piano, musicians are very sentimental people, so you want something above the piano that you can "feel and connect to" when you're sitting there playing. It has to be sentimental to you, irrespective of what it is and what colour it may be, and not to consider it as part of the rooms overall decor. Hi. Blush pink would look lovely. You can add a couple of things in metallics either in gold or copper to lift it. Have you just painted your walls? If you did want more colour you cold paint them in a soft warm green which would work with the blush and grey, if not a little green in the room would work for accessories and would definitely add a plant somewhere. I'd move the small sofa over so the arms aren't overlapping and then anchor the seating with a rug, I'd go for something patterned. I'd also hang Art over the other sofa, either one large or a few smaller but pick something around 2/3 of the sofa size and hang it just a few inches above the sofa. A coffee and side tables with lamps sounds great.
