Readymade s-wave curtains

Does anyone know if it’s possible to buy readymade s-wave curtains? I’ve done lots of searching (and obviously have found lots of readymade pencil pleat and eyelet curtains, so no need to direct me to those) but no joy with s-wave. Trying to avoid the cost of made to measure curtains but I love the look of s-wave.

I can’t find ready made either, but I saw Curtains2Go do made to measure including the track. You can enter the measurements you require and they will give you a price. Worth a look if you haven’t done so already?

Thanks @sonia, yes I’d come across this site and have some fabric samples from them, but they work out at around 3 times the cost of readymade curtains so I was hoping that readymade s-waves exist somewhere. Seems very odd that they don’t - I can’t quite figure out why they couldn’t just be made in standard sizes, but there seems to be an obsession with pencil pleats and eyelets in the readymade market! Thanks for looking though, appreciate it!

JC thank you again - it's actually your photos that we have saved on our wishlist so it really was a big help! New blinds sound absolutely brilliant so we're going to get in touch once the work starts and hopefully they can provide ours too. If you have any photos they would be most gratefully received, the mechanism you have to pull them all down sounds fab! I presume you've not had any problems and they're still going strong! At the risk of pushing my luck, do you have any idea of the cost of your lovely sliding doors, to have so much glass, compared to say bifold doors? We've decided we want large sliders to maximise the light, but I'm worried they will be loads more than bifolds which were in our original builder's quote, eek!! Thank you again, as you say this forum is unbelievably helpful and I'm eternally grateful to you all!!

Thank you all, I didn't think of shutters or blinds, but they do sound like a good option... with wave curtains they stack to one (or two, depends on your choice) sides, and the stack won't be too big, so when the door is opened, the curtains would be stacked flat by the wall. And fence definitely, at some point, will be necessary!

I think these are “wave” headings which don’t tend to be a standard heading in places like Dunelm and which have a special track. There seem to be online suppliers if you google “wave headings”.

Help with curtains in a patio door recess

By putting the curtains in the recess you will lose a lot of light. I suggest you measure how much space the current curtains take up on the outside and then block out that amount of space with cardboard to see if you are happy to lose that much light. Personally I would go with a more tailored look such as roman blinds above the outside the recess or a pelmet with roller blinds behind which will retain the light but give the cleaner look you want.

Yes made to measure can be so expensive. One company quoted £1,300 for my bay window, wow! I hope you find what you are looking for 😊
