Colour to go with TKC light grey units

i’m struggling to choose a colour to go with my new kitchen units. The room is east facing so gets the sun in the morning. i find that the units change colour from a light grey through to a bluey grey later in the day. Different again in artificial light!

i originally thought of having eau de nil colour but think I need to go for something more neutral. Any suggestion? I have looked at F&B wevet, strong white etc but cant decide. Any help would be appreciated, I don’t want the kitchen to look cold.

A simple white would go. Doesn’t have to be brilliant white, something like F&B’s All White.

You could try Little Green Slaked Lime. Perhaps the second lightest. Not yellowy but not too cool I reckon.

How dark are the grey tiles and are they on the floor or walls? If you have dark floor tiles, consider pale unit fronts in cream, white, duck egg blue, or sage green. If the tiles are pale grey, look at dark doors in navy or French blue, walnut or terracotta.

When you say your wall colour is “strong white” do you mean Farrow and Ball Strong White? Looks lovely. I’ve got the same dilemma-Dove Grey units in an east facing room which gets not much light. I’ve tried a million samples and can’t find that “right one”. Thanks

Hi, Kitchen looks awesome. I like to go for f&b cornforth white, really is a subtle colour which allows the kitchen to really stand out. But it’s enough of a colour to add some interest and not just white. The blues looks nice but personally I find them all quite cold looking.

I have dove grey fascias in my kitchen and have F&B Wevet on the walls. It suits it well.

Hi there. I would stick to a simple white, especially as the tones of the cupboards change with the light - you want something that will work against all tones.

a good place to look would b e im Houzz photos - search for the colour units you have "light grey kitchen" and see what photos appeal to you. It may be that a coloured splashback is all you need or a patterned tile floor will lift the space.
