Hi Bryan, thanks for your question! With those dimenions you should probably be okay, the biggest concern would be water getting out near the shorter half wall. We'd suggest a linear drain along the "wet wall" (where the shower head(s) is/are) where the floor is pitched back to. That way you stand less of a chance of water creeping out especially if there is no threshold such as the image above. Hopefully this helps!

A larger window to the smaller bifolding doors would mean you get more kitech units, therefore more storage. So it would be beneficial to have a large window rather than bi folding doors on the smaller side. Saying that, Bi-folding doors do look great and they make the place feel more spcious. So the other option you have is to support the upper part of the wall with a RCJ (Steel) and have the bi-folding doors all the way across which would look great. We had the same dilemma and opted for a slightly larger main a Jack and Jill bathroom and used the slightly smaller double as a massive walk in wardrobe (a future owner could use the room as another double bedroom but for us the space for clothing was much better as a solution than a spare room that would rarely be used). Due to the eaves the hanging room is limited in a loft so better and cheaper to use drawers and hanging rails under the eaves for storage (rather than bespoke wardrobes) which meant it being on show so we wanted it in a separate room to our sleeping area....it's a wonderful haven now and we love it...hope that helps - to see a walk through.....

The short answer is that guest toilet don't really need a window, better use the space for other functions. But looking at your plan, I'm not sure its the best idea to enter the whole extension space though the kitchen, this can really bother anyone cooking and disturbs the flow of space. I've been thinking about options to cover all basis and came up with this. To allow guests to use a bath/shower the ensuite would be shared. I added a wall in the master bedroom to divide it and add privacy so guests don't have to walk into the bedroom to get to the bath/shower. The upsides are that the ensuite is larger, includes a bath and shower and has more vanity room. Also, by diving the bedroom I can add sort of a walk-in wardrobe. The downsides are that there's only one bath/shower that has to be shared and guests have to walk through the walk-in wardrobe to get to it. Also, it reduces the size of the master bedroom but it's quite a long room anyway and it would cut out the light from the windows in the bedroom. Personally I don't see these as big problems but I guess some people won't like it. Do you think this is a good idea?
