Would purple bed sheets work with purple cushions?

Well I need help and what you think because I have two single bed at the moment in my bedroom but they both are going to be replaced with a double bed and well would purple bed sheet work with pink cushions by the way my bedroom is going to be painted purple and pink so I'm not sure? Thanks for your help!

It is too much of purple as you describe it. Do you have any pictures you can put up?

At the moment it's not ready but unless you want see it really messy? And at the moment it's not painted and not really ready

Cushions are definitely a nice addition to a bed when it comes to comfort and cosiness. Rich, fluffy cushions add to the feeling you want to have when you are in bed: you want to feel relaxed. Besides, although they can be a pain to remove before sleeping if you have too many of them, they upgrade your bed to the next design level. I have 5 cushions, all of them rectangular and fluffy. I have mixed the colours, patterns, and textures in order to make my bed stand out: a nice trick for that is to use white sheets, and vivid and colourful cushions to contrast with the whiteness of the bed. Plain velvety mustard yellow and fushia plain cushions mixed with green geometric patterns, ... I've got them all!

I'm not sure if you're after plain or patterned or what your taste is. Laura Ashley do cushions in grape and amethyst velvet. You can normally get a variety of LA cushions on ebay. H&M have got both plain purple and yellow velvet cushions. They also have a new circular jacquard weave in yellow but I can't get an image of it. The 1st pic is from Dunelm Mill, you could team this with something bright to lift it. The 2nd is By Scion at John Lewis. The last is from Maison Privee, as I saw your dog on the sofa! Designers Guild always have great cushions but they are not cheap!

I have a purple wall in my small sitting room, the rest are cream, as are the curtains. The colour is a feature wall paint from Crown and a beautiful quality paint - I always find its much better quality than Dulux myself. My husband was not sure at first, but when we moved in it was so bland. The mismatch of gold picture frames/large mirror I had packed away from the late eighties/nineties came out again and really work on this wall! When we move to our new house, I plan to have at least one aubergine wall, as the fabric I've selected has some of that shade in it (I bought a 40 metre roll of overstock designer fabric on ebay at a fantastic price). At the moment I'm thinking aubergine in the hall perhaps as the floor is grey slate and the trim is all natural waxed pine, but we'll see if I'm that brave.

I really like the idea of G plan round table. I think you can't go wrong with crisp white bed linen - and a scattering of cushions to complement the decor of the room will look lovely :-)
