Does anyone have these teak chairs?

Hello, I'm planning to order these teak chairs for outside and I just wondered if anyone else on here has them already and how well they are wearing over time in the UK weather.

I don’t have those chairs but I no longer buy wooden garden chairs as they sadly just don’t last long. My most recent garden chairs are metal from John Lewis, the Miami range.

Mine are in the putty colourway.

I have a teak bench which is looking rather worse for wear. It needs to be treated evey year and covered over winter to keep it looking good.

Those look nice, I think to fit truly into a modern house you need a modern design and these look more traditional / classic. On eBay all the rattan sets that look modern (rattan cube) would look best in modern homes, but the colours are lacking. Your grey, in one of these cube sets would look great. They are always on the garden ideas photo books on this site, but can be hard to track down to buy.

I agree! As it is not always feasible to install real timber or stone, Karndean is the best vinyl option. I am going to have 36sqm of it installed in my own place. I have direct contacts with the manufacturers here in the UK. If anyone is interested, please inbox me and will get you in touch.

It might be an idea to put the measurements on the listing, although the photos do give some idea. Having said that I usually put approx. measurements on my listings and still get asked what are the "actual measurements". And people bidding for collection only items when they live 100s of miles away and have no intention of collecting or paying.

Thanks, done it all myself :-) full schluter system, cost a small fortune but worth it, I actually dug my floor out and replaced it adding the needed slope to the drain! My floor tiles are from Brazil, sorry can’t recall the make but that was two years ago and I was in a tile shop choosing patio tiles and couldn’t believe the choice nowadays! They neatly look as if they have been in an old house that has been burnt in a fire! I love them but they are a brave choice tbh. The back lite mirror and led strip which down washes the wall with the shower heads and controls really is needed as the Pom is quite dark! Saying that I love dark walls too so it really does look fantastic with the strip light on at night even just as a feature!

I have similar chairs outside my holiday home. l also have a teak bench at my main home which l am in the process of sanding down and painting. Every year it needs treating and l’m going to use a 10 year guaranteed use paint because l am fed up of doing it every year. The sun isn’t kind to it and it’s not as though we even have a lot of it.

They look nice but over time will need maintaining.
