That's an awesome colour (I've used to great effect too in small places). It enables you to be really decadent and make the room mega luxury. Who doesn't want that sat on the throne ;-) I totally disagree with trying to match everything up, it's a complete waste of the palette in the colour itself, and don't worry about the curve stuff, work with it, put things into the space that make it enjoyable. Annoyingly I can't upload the pics I have sorry. The colour enables you to go crazy. Blacks, browns, grey (downpipe grey is the match for this colour and it is ace), purples, bronze, gold and silver all come to life off it. Please, please, please do not put any more white in there. Make it mega luxurious... To make the walls come to life you could use lots of photo frames in golds and silvers, do a mural around the corner of the wall above the basin with those small glass bricks and mirrors to create a focal point (think / look at morrocan style stuff), add in a really deep mix rug, put up a lush dried flower set that you can add scent to once in a while, get a shelf up for candles and trinkets. Enjoy going wild - you won't be diss-apointed when you're on the throne haha

No it's not listed,but will come with some restrictions due to planning . It will be used for commercial purposes as a bar/ restaurant or office depending on market research. The floors are marble and parquet so keeping as much features as possible. Would like to furnish with Chesterfield s and old quirky but need a modern cool relaxing look

Thanks all for your replies. One of the radiators will be in a newly built extension which will have plastered walls. The extension will be separate to the old part of the house which contains the chimney breast and majority of the kitchen. If I had a white radiator in the old part so as not to detract from the features, would or should the radiator in the new extension be white or would it work as a feature if black? I should also say that the majority of the extension is glass and bio-fold doors with anthracite frames. For some reason I’m having a mental block over the radiator colour... I know this sounds daft... Tia Shirley

That's a good point about the narrower radiators. We'd probably prefer them anyway, so if i restrict my search to two column, I can go wider without completely over-provisioning the heating capacity. Some manufacturers seem to go to 1.5m wide in two-column, which is getting close to the width of the window. That's also a great point about positioning the radiators a bit higher on the wall than the 'default' height. My current radiators are 75cm, but most of the radiators I'm looking at (Acova, Milano Windsor) only come in 60cm height. Nordic Column has a 75cm option, but I haven't seen many reviews of them. But if I nudge up the wall a bit, that should make the 60cm look better suited to the height of the wall. Thanks all!
