A Sussex Dower House
This 6.5 acre sloping site sits in a stretch of green belt land with expansive views across the Sussex countryside. Unfortunately, a large housing estate planned for the area threatens the views so a new shelter belt was needed to shield the property while retaining some of views beyond.
The design ensures that differing styles, functions and moods worked together seamlessly to create a garden that exceeded the client’s need for an intimate family space but was also an impressive venue in which to host and entertain business associates.
The project was shortlisted for the Society of Garden Designers Student Awards 2015.
