This garden was a very narrow and awkward space with areas being in deep shade and overlooked from all sides. The challenge was to make the space feel more private and secluded with new cedar slatted battens to provide a contemporary feel. The paving was broken up with strips of gravel and a low growing creeping plant called 'Mind Your Own Business' while Hakonechloa grasses spill over the paving to soften the hard landscaping. The space now feels far more inviting and private.
