The owners of this garden, in a relatively quiet corner of Kew were looking to have a space that was low maintenance, could provide them with outdoor dining and cooking and be a spot for enjoying some gardening. Retaining privacy but still having access to evening light was important to the owners.

We were keen to take on the challenge and focused on creating a space that would be peaceful, flexible for outside entertainment and give the owners and their family a secluded spot.

Creating a focal point within the garden for the eye to be drawn to was key in creating a sense of privacy without blocking out boundaries. Planters either side of a generous water feature gently step down and lead the eye to rest on a calming double spill water fountain.
