Huntsmore undertook the design and build of this kitchen extension in Queen's Park. The extension itself had been built over 20 years ago, with leaking roof glazing and clunky bi-fold doors not not being very fit for purpose.

Huntsmore redesigned the entire room, relocating the kitchen along the party wall and introducing a well proportioned island. The island design functionally serves the kitchen well, but also provides a breakfast bar area. The kitchen is finished in a timeless navy shaker style with modern handles from 'Dowsing & Reynolds'.

The most striking upgrade to this room was the glazing. We designed full length glazing in the side return extension, flooding the dining area with light. We also installed these superb sliding doors at the rear. The minimal sight-lines give the impression of the kitchen and garden almost feeling like one united space. The room was finished with solid dark wooden floors supplied by Havwoods.

We undertook refurbishment works to the rest of the property - we decorated throughout with a Little Greene colour palette, and installed bespoke joinery, with a window seat in the living room bay and fully fitted wardrobe joinery in the master bedroom.
