Issue
Configuration was an issue here, with an oversized kitchen and small living room. False partitions, which lowered the high ceilings, made light and space an additional concern.

Solution
The kitchen and bathrooms were switched creating open-plan living. All unnecessary partitions were removed allowing light to flow through the property. The entrance to the bedroom was altered allowing for “his and her” walk-in wardrobes to feature on either side of the entrance corridor.

The property had a full renovation including rewire, new central heating, new kitchen and bathroom and hardwood flooring throughout. The original Victorian features were restored including antique marble fireplace and cornicing in the bedroom and living areas. Double-glazed timber sash windows were installed. Intelligent and energy efficient central heating was also put in place.
