Godolphin Road, Shepherd's Bush, W12
Issue:
The major issue was space. The double bedroom was too small to be practical and the bathroom unnecessarily large.
Solution:
The bathroom and the walls were removed and replaced with a smaller shower room. The wall was pushed back over a foot giving significantly more space to the bedroom. The bathroom ceiling was also dropped so that there was storage above the bathroom. A “walk-in” wardrobe was built in to the left of the shower room, removing the need for any cupboards in the bedroom.
The property had a full renovation including rewire, new central heating, new kitchen and bathroom and hardwood flooring throughout. The original Victorian features were restored including a marble fireplace, timber sash windows and cornicing in the bedroom and living areas.
