Huntsmore project managed this rear extension and glass box scheme in Notting Hill. Architects 'dRAW Architecture' undertook all design and planning work, creating a fantastic new layout and specifying superb materials.

Huntsmore undertook the management of the build phase, overseeing all of the groundworks through to all of the finishing details. Being on the lower ground floor, and enormous amount of earth was removed from the site, with concrete retaining walls being in built around all of the edges.

Huntsmore worked alongside a glazing contractor to supply and install all of the glass, negotiating a mini crane through the small rear garden to safely install the pieces.

The flooring has fully plumbed underfloor heating throughout, and finished with a very slick micro-cement floor. Bespoke joinery also features, with access to the master bedroom through a concealed door in the joinery.

Arguably one of the best features is the concealed shower room hidden behind a row of floor to ceiling glass mirrors. The owner has a hairdressing studio and needed an appropriate set up to see clients - behind one of the doors is a pull out sink for washing hair, behind another houses all hair products and the middle panel is a secret door leading into the shower room and WC.
