This is a large family garden with some very big trees at the rear of it. The brief was to accommodate the play needs of a range of children, an area for grown up entertaining and to incorporate two beautiful sculptures.

We designed a large, bespoke play area under the trees and as nothing else would grow used artificial lawn as the play surface. We created a curved evergreen hedge that separates the natural lawn from the artificial lawn of the play area. We used planting in bold, graphic sweeps to compliment the bold graphic nature of the design and to draw the eye to the key focal points of the sculptures..
