We were asked to create a calm and peaceful retreat in which our clients could really relax. We designed the scheme around the two beautiful silver Birches that were already established and introduced shrubs, perennials and grasses with interesting foliage. We were asked to not include too many flowers and to keep the colour palette as restrained as possible. For the terraces we used a narrow paving slab laid in a graphic, linear pattern that was enhanced by low evergreen hedges.
