This garden was designed as a rich play area for three little girls but also needed to be a great entertaining space for their parents. When we first saw this garden it was dominated and blighted by a very large Eucalyptus tree. The garden was virtually unusable by the children and it was impossible to grow anything beneath it. The client applied for permission to remove the tree and once it was gone we replaced it with three wild life friendly trees and numerous flowering shrubs and perennials. The garden is now full of light and life. The original tree lives on in the garden as timber blocks and logs that we have used as large stepping stones throughout the planting.
