This family garden in Brockley had a very sunny front garden and a rear garden that was dominated by a large Oak tree. In the shady rear garden, we introduced a textured planting palette that has flashes of jewel colours coming through swathes of textured grasses. The terrace is a grey Irish Limestone with Olives and herbs in large pots. We are particularly pleased with how well the grasses have established beneath the mature Oak tree.

In the front garden, we maximised the lovely sunny aspect and planted a riotous combination of large sun loving perennials amongst a range of grasses. We designed the planting scheme to be glorious throughout the summer months but also to be interesting all year round.
