We’re delighted that this complex steel staircase, designed by D4S, working closely with D. Wilson Architectural Metalwork, has just been successfully installed. The six-piece, two-storey, curved staircase weighs several tonnes and is supported only with concealed connections to retain the beautiful aesthetics of the design. The installation was completed without any clashes or onsite problems, and goes to show how a well thought out design, in collaboration with the fabricator, is essential on projects such as these.
