This is a really interesting case study for D4S, as we took on extra responsibilities over and above our existing commission. The Gants Hill project’s original structural engineers were, unfortunately, unable to complete the job, so we stepped in to provide retrospective calculations and design for the steelwork, right up to full fabrication level. We then also designed the architectural metalwork that features prominently in this striking new residential development.

Our specialist Structural Engineering and Construction Engineering teams worked closely with the client, to deliver a successful outcome for all involved.
