This late Georgian style property in Highgate Village had undergone a very unflattering renovation in the early 1950s. We were commissioned to undertake a complete renovation to restore the house to its former grandeur. Original features were retained and new elements were integrated in a contemporary style, creating striking juxtapositions. A variety of spaces were required to accommodate a professional working environment with a library and study, a social area for receptions and functions, as well as a more private family area. Schneider Designers was also involved in the selection of interior joinery and key furnishings to complete the design concept.
