Creating a bold and beautiful terraced home
The scope of works included converting an old fashioned en-suite into shower-room and dressing area, redesigning the master bedroom, and giving a face-lift to the entry, stairs, dining area and study with bespoke storage solutions as needed.
Though traditional tiles were chosen for the entrance, we made a bold choice with the red stair runner which perfectly linked the downstairs with the upper level where red wallpaper was used. The dining area, being in the basement and in need of brightening, was the perfect candidate for the use of a yellow wall covering to form a statement backdrop to the contemporary dining furniture and pendant light. Installing a hanging bubble chair was the finishing touch needed to lift the space and give it an injection of playfulness.
We re configured the space on the first floor to change this two bed into a master suite with a walk in wardrobe and bathroom. We used natural fibre wallpaper and a stunning hand-dyed red velvet bed to make a mostly red bedroom a soothing and timeless space.
We are very excited to be working with this client for a second time on their newest property.
