Ski Chalet in Sweden
The world-renowned Swedish architect Thomas Sandell and landscape architect Johan Paju designed this innovative Ski Chalet in the ski resort of Hemavan in the very north of Sweden. The interior is by MKID for a private client.
Located in Sweden’s northern-most province, Lapland, the small town of Hemavan is mainly a skiing and holiday destination. The interior material pallet of pine, limestone and white painted walls is in contrast to the colour palette for the furniture and soft furnishing which has taken its inspiration from the traditional clothing of the Lappish people.
