The client was looking to improve the existing access arrangement to their wonderful upper conversion within a Victorian sandstone villa in leafy conservation area of Pollokshields.
Our design features a new first floor level extension housing a new sitting room/hallway to arrive into built over a new internal entrance module housing the new access stair. The new extension reimagines the sequence of access and arrival for this home by creating a light filled open plan entrance hall which can double up as additional living space to the main conversion opening up new vistas and a new relationship with the property’s front garden.
