The proposal involves internal remodelling, a loft conversion with dormers and a substantial contemporary two-storey side/ rear extension. Our client was looking to transform and enlarge their home to better suit the needs of their large family while enhancing the enjoyment of their daily life. A key issue with the original house design was its lack of connection to the rear garden as well as its cellular layout. NVDC proposed to reimagine the house by opening up and reconfiguring the existing house layout on ground level and building a semi-open plan two-storey rear extension and creating a large master suite at attic level.
