The client wanted to create a calm and timeless space for their guest bathroom. In conversation with them it soon became apparent that they loved the glamorous luxury of old school ‘powder rooms’, but wanted to avoid it being too overly feminine.

Studio Milne redesigned this light-filled spacious room with a stunning freestanding copper bath, with it’s peachy pink tones, as the main focus point. Complimented by the soft peachy pink hues of the walls, and marble to the shower wall and floor, this room now oozes an elegance that’s perfect for relaxing in.

The intricate marble mosaic floor breaks up the pink tones with a black and white basket weave pattern, and adds a sophisticated texture to the space, whilst being incredibly practical.

The sheer roman blind on the large window creates a soft light when the blind is down, adding a warm texture to the room, and the clients now regularly linger in the warm luxury reminiscent of all those alluring powder rooms.
