Our client in this beautiful Victorian terraced house in Shepherds Bush is a colour, art and pattern lover and her brief was simple - inject some joy, personality and love into a previously bland utilitarian kitchen. It was music to our ears.

We started from scratch, gutting the space and working from the flooring up. It needed to work hard as a kitchen diner so space saving banquette seating was incorporated to allow for a central work space and island. And our brave client jumped at the striking blue, red, green colour scheme - reflecting the colours of existing artwork and the carefully curated pieces collected over time.

We also revamped the cloakroom WC that connected to the kitchen space, following the colours through and adding playful touches of the unexpected. And we provided finishing touches to other areas of the house, including turning the main ensuite bathroom into a calming oasis.

The result: a delightful, playful and inviting space that reflects our client’s bold and eclectic taste.
