This well proportioned home in the heart of Shepherds Bush was a wonderful blank canvass, crying out for some colour and pattern love. Our client, a working mum with her young family, wanted to inject warmth and personality into the space and create a friendly, happy home. Her fabulous art collection provided the perfect starting point, around which we helped her to add eclectic vintage finds and colourful soft furnishings.

The first floor open plan living room, TV snug and office was a multi-purpose space that needed to cohesively work together - so we toned colours to provide a calming backdrop for the wonderful artwork. Downstairs the basement floor was an open plan kitchen, dining room and family play area - here we injected colour, layered patterns and tried to add a touch of playfulness to liven up the space.

In the master bedroom we incorporated the client’s favourite colours and love of beautiful artisan craftmanship - whilst the children’s and guest bedrooms required some clever space saving storage ideas.

The result: a joyful, happy, family home that we hope is both restful and uplifting.
