This kitchen remodel was designed by Gail from our Manchester showroom. This remodel features Cabico Unique cabinets with Cherry wood, door style (#795/P1/D) (Raised Panel) and cognac stain finish with Antique black glaze. The kitchen countertop is granite with Crema Pearl color and ¼ round edges. The backsplash is a 4”x10” glossy Bone subway tile by Anatolia. The flooring is 12”x24” Porcelain tile with Monticello Sand color by Anatolia. Other features include Delta faucet and soap dispenser in an Arctic stainless finish.

I had free reign to design this gorgeous and dramatic window that gives Esti a full view of her backyard. It's a beautiful and useful focal point. This is a large kitchen, and the tradeoff in wall cabinet storage was worth the additional light and ambiance provided by the oversized window.

Проект вдохновлен природой севера, что выражает пожелания заказчиков. При входе в квартиру мы попадаем в прихожую,в которой расположили вместительный гардероб, обувницу, вешалку для одежды и зеркало. Квартира разделена на 3 зоны: общую (кухня-гостиная), спальню, кабинет; и санузлы. Из прихожей мы попадаем в кухню-столовую и гостиную. Пространство зонировано напольным покрытием и двухуровневым потолком. В центре зоны кухни расположен обеденный стол. В гостиной зоне предусмотрен диван и установка проектора, для просмотра фильмов, приема гостей. В данном проекте использовались естественные материалы: керамический гранит и плитка, интерьерная акриловая краска, декоративная штукатурка. Напольное покрытие – ламинат 33 класса. Общее освещение в квартире решено точечными светильниками, люстрами и встроенным светодиодным освещением. В качестве местного освещения используются бра в спальнях и коридоре. В качестве декоративного освещения используем светодиодную подсветку стен и потолка.

This large and bright kitchen was rethought from a dark cabinet, dark counter top and closed in feel. First the large separating wall from the kitchen into the back hallway overlooking the pool was reduced in height to allow light to spill into the room all day long. Navy Cabinets were repalinted white and the island was updated to a light grey. Absolute black counter tops were left on the perimeter cabinets but the center island and sink area were resurfaced in Cambria Ella. A apron front sign with Newport Brass bridge faucet was installed to accent the area. New pendant lights over the island and retro barstools complete the look. New undercabinet lighting, lighted cabinets and new recessed lighting finished out the kitchen in a new clean bright and welcoming room. Perfect for the grandkids to be in.

Just because a kitchen has white cabinets, countertops and backsplash does not mean it has to be bland! This homeowner went for the classic look throughout their kitchen with a beautiful painted white raised panel door and five piece drawer fronts. The decorative wood hood, gorgeous marble countertops and white backsplash compliment the overall feel of the space. Glass inserts flanking the hood and simple lighting complete the main portion of the kitchen. A fun surprise is concealed behind the glass pantry doors, where the client opted to add color and print - we love the use of this fun accent in a way that shows their personality, while being easy to change if they want to select a new accent color for the space. This small galley kitchen was updated with clean white cabinetry, marble look countertops, white subway tile and dark hardware. Floating shelves on the range wall make a bold statement with their rich brown stain and black hardware, while being used to store the homeowners crisp white dishes. This beautiful estate is positioned with beautiful views and mountain sides around which is why the client loves it so much and never wants to leave. She has lots of pretty decor and treasures she had collected over the years of travelling and wanted to give the home a facelift and better display those items, including a Murano glass chandelier from Italy. The kitchen had a strange peninsula and dining nook that we removed and replaced with a kitchen continent (larger than an island) and built in around the patio door that hide outlets and controls and other supplies. We changed all the flooring, stairway and railing including the gallery area, fireplaces, entryway and many other touches, completely updating the downstairs. Upstairs we remodeled the master bathroom, walk-in closet and after everything was done, she loved it so much that she had us come back a few years later to add another patio door with built in downstairs and an elevator from the master suite to the great room and also opened to a spa outside. Customer had a set budget to stay within for this kitchen. Customer was working with her insurance payment for her kitchen damages after a water damage emergency. We replaced the cabinets, the countertops, sink and hardware. Customer chose all finishes and materials within her budget, we provided them to her and installed everything.

Of course you might be constricted by space, but try to envisage the easiest and most efficient layout based on how you usually like to cook and prepare your food. Should I include a kitchen island?

Kitchen island ideas are abundant these days; it seems most kitchen designs include a kitchen island, if not multiple islands. However, if the layout doesn’t work, especially if you have a small kitchen, then there’s no necessity to add in a kitchen island. You can add a breakfast bar or counter to your existing kitchen units, or stick with a good old-fashioned dining table if you don’t need the extra work surfaces. That said, if you do have the room, take a look at some kitchen island ideas to see if the designs inspire you for your kitchen. There are a huge variety of island designs to cater to different needs – you can have sinks, ovens, hobs, wine storage and all sorts of drawers and organisers built-in, you can have separate bars and counters that extend from your island, or you could go for a kitchen island on wheels to make your kitchen layout more versatile.

How do I choose my kitchen units and cabinets?

When picking out kitchen units and cupboard styles for a fitted kitchen, you’ll first want to consider the more practical questions – how many units do you need? How many cupboards and drawers do you need? Do you need extra kitchen storage built into your units? It’s always best to overestimate how much kitchen storage you’ll need as we all tend to have a habit of filling up whatever current space we have to the maximum. Next you can consider kitchen cabinet style and colour. Shaker style cabinets and raised and recessed panel cabinets offer a more traditional kitchen cabinet look, while flat panel cabinet doors tend to lend more to the modern and contemporary style. However, going for raised or recessed panel work in a striking colour such as dark blue, green or black can still work with contemporary kitchen ideas. White kitchens can give a sleek and clean feel, but remember you may have to do a bit more cleaning of those cupboard doors if you want everything to stay shiny and fresh. Of course, grey kitchens are the neutral colour choice du jour and can be paired with pale and rich shades alike if you want your fitted kitchen cupboards to contrast with your worktop, splashback, floor, or all of the above. Exposed shelving and storage is also popular for eclectic, Scandi and industrial-inspired looks, so you could opt for glass-fronted cabinets or no wall-mounted cabinets at all. However, there are now lots of pull out compartments and drawers with trays and shelving that can act as mini kitchen pantries, and you can install handy cupboard organisers that fit onto the inside of the door to make the most of your cupboard space. You can also look at corner drawers and cupboards that open up to reveal lots of extra storage.
