“Ian acted as our architect for an extension project back in 2001 and when we came to do a full renovation of our house 15 years later we were very happy to use his services once again. He is great to work with to realise your ambitions within your budget, get you over the line with the planning and building control authorities, find a contractor and then supervise the project through to completion. He has also helped a great deal with post completion and rectification issues and we are very happy with the results of our project with him. “Four years after completion and the house is still fantastic. The brief was to transform and extend an old house for modern living. After interviewing a short list of architects we chose Chris. The preliminary sketch he showed me with his ideas after his first visit to the site was replicated and enhanced in the final build. Every "annoying" trait of the old house has been eliminated and what we have now is a beautiful combination of an old and modern house which works well. The old part of the house is made of stone on the left and the new part of the house is glass and wood on the right. The large window area gives outstanding view over our wood which the previous old and small windows did not give. Chris also designed a free standing glass and wood studio which sits to the left of the house - again with outstanding views The team (builder RG Walker, Quantity Surveyor Tozer and Tozer and architect Fasciato) worked extremely well together to deliver a project that was on time, on budget and of outstanding quality. I would and have recommended Fasciato.”
