“Project - first story extension + remodelling other parts of house. Communication - excellent. Happy to communicate over evenings and weekend which is relatively unique and extremely useful for those with full time jobs. brief and vision - listened to us at length and for the first visit spent plenty of time on site. Ongoing input- always happy to answer questions. Guides us through the process and steers us through the ideas. Value - not the cheapest but worth it for the communication and experience. It's a professional approach that means this is great value. We explored all the options so won't have any regrets - part of the cost is the peace of mind of a thorough approach. Reliability - does as promises. Has had us over to his house for client brief, so nothing to hide and not afraid to engage fully.”

“Excellent professional service and beautiful plans created by Karl for a bungalow conversion into a house. Karl has great vision and has worked with me every step of the way to create exactly what I need from a home and gave great thought and attention to detail. Every question answered as I was new to all of the requirements needed for my renovation plans. Thanks to Karl's friendly and knowledgeable service, everything has run very smoothly, even the planning application stage through the Lake District Planning Board. Works are due to start soon and Karl has made sure everything needed is in place. I would highly recommend Karl Fox for any architectural needs.”

“We wanted a double storey extension built. J came out and explained to us the entire process. His company was more expensive than others but we went because we understood what he explained and we liked the concept plans. Throughout the process we let J and his team manage it for us. With the weather and supply issues the project was completed behind schedule but J and his team kept us informed throughout. We are glad that we hired them”

“Sally Wetherell was initially recommended to us by a well respected local builder. He said that she was meticulous, creative, efficient and great to work with. We certainly found all this and more to be true. We live in a Victorian Gothic Rectory and wanted the extension we dreamed of. Sally exuded a genuine empathy and confidence for our project. Any changes or concerns we had were dealt with swiftly and with a depth of understanding that made the whole process a pleasure. She was always approachable and reliable. We greatly appreciated how transparent and upfront she was with her costings: A Schedule of Fee’s was drawn up and itemised in stages so there were no hidden costs or surprises. Planning Permission was a genuine concern but Sally knew how to deal with potentially tricky issues and got our plans through with ease. We have future plans for further development of the Rectory and without hesitation will be asking Sally for her professional help and guidance.”

“We appointed Sahil to reconfigure some existing plans which were granted when we bought our home as we thought we could get more out of our space. Sahil was extremely professional from start to finish. He was attentive to what we wanted to achieve, extremely professional and provided us with great ideas/solutions. He also provided us with advice on other matters we should consider as part our extension and provided useful contacts to aid us to complete the re configuring process. We were very happy with the final plans! Would highly recommend Merkaba Studio's services to friends and family for any project no matter what size and look forward to working with you on future projects. Appreciate all the help!”

“John is a model professional that comes across honest and with a will to help. We had a situation that required reasearch into the building regulations for a garden office and John delt with the council on our behalf getting us clarity and also a solution that saved us time and money. Couldn't reccommend John enough as your first port of call no matter where you are in the country as he did this all remotely for us due to the current covid situation.”
