“My husband and I got Paul from Office in My Garden to build us a garden room last summer. Paul designed the room for us and had lots of amazing ideas for the design. We were amazed at the skill involved in building our room. Paul built the entire structure by hand - cutting wood to size piece by piece. There is no flat pack in site! The finished job was stunning. Our garden room was exactly as we wanted it to be. It was stylish and practical and blended in beautifully to our home / garden. Paul did an amazing job. He is extremely skilled and stayed on the job until the very last nail had been put in. The attention to detail is superb. Paul paints the room, gets the lighting organised and essentially makes sure it is totally finished before he leaves the site. We are incredibly happy with the finished outcome and highly recommend Paul. Everyone who has come to our house loves the garden room - it is absolutely fantastic.”

“Oak By Design supplied me with oak flooring for my new kitchen project. They were really helpful and gave great advice to make sure I had the right flooring for a kitchen with it being a high traffic area. I did get a slightly cheaper quote but I wasn't as confident they were up to the job. Richard and Jamie were both great, really friendly and knowledgable. The flooring was delivered as promised. Great service would highly recommend.”

“We wanted to build an Orangery onto our Grade 2 listed building, our initial thoughts were to use painted hard work, However after contacting several companies, we found that Richmond Oak came out at a very competitive price to a well known competitor in hard wood. Oak would compliment the lovely Hamstone our home is built with so this sparked our interest. Colin the representative from Richmond Oak was very knowledgeable and of his product and how the project should be designed and built, there was no hard sell, he took time to listen to what we wanted and worked with us . He also was sympathetic to the conservation officers criteria the resulting build was all that we dreamed of. As things got going we liaised mainly with Paul, the head man at Richmond Oak, its fair to say he was available at almost any hour, nice to know whatever the worry he would be there to try and solve our hitches and allay our worries no matter how small or silly, this took a lot of stress out of what could have been a very worrying time. From the deliverery of the Oak to the final fitting of the lantern roof Richmond Oaks attention to detail was phenomenal.Dave there workman worked the most amazing hours and was considerate and helpful to the other builders on site. We had seventeen windows, two patio doors, two doors and an Orangery from this company, Paul took time to make sure all the latches , handles, hinges etc sat well with the rest of our home, not selling us what he wanted to make the most profit on or had left over, but took great care and attention sourcing what the customer wanted. Its true to say we invested a huge amount in Richmond Oak but the product speaks for itself, should we ever need to do such a project again, this company would be our first port of call, we would expect a discount for being a returning customer !”

“We used Bathstone for our village Tennis club renovation in December. I cannot recommend this company enough...not only did they finish early, but came in under budget...when does that ever happen? The guys were tidy and respectful and nothing was too much trouble. Andrew is very knowledgeable and patient, coming up with some fantastic ideas which has meant that we have been able to preserve our beloved club hut of 30 years for another 30....I will post a picture once the hut is painted”
