When changes were needed, he endeavored to get them done with no rework involved. This practice kept costs down as well as allowed the home build process to proceed without delays. He introduced us to his construction team members as they began their segments so we knew them and could talk with them when required. The interior teams were also great and paid attention to detail as they were doing their areas. They took any changes in stride and focused on delivering quality in a timely manner. We were consulted in any significant questions and they also provided really useful advice when asked. Again Ranjit was very involved throughout the process to keep the work going at a good pace. After key turnover, Ranjit and his team were just as diligent in completing any ‘punch list’ final items we noted. They even found some we had missed and got them done. The entire process from start to finish was completely enjoyable thanks to Matt’s patience, unparalleled attention to detail and ‘can do’ attitude. So many of our friends have built through big box builders and have complained about moving timelines, communication, and feeling nickeled and dimed, but our experience could not have been more opposite. Matt and his team were reliable, finishing the house on time with a few days to spare, his communication transparent and incredibly responsive, and above all else, he was fair. He and his team are incredibly dedicated to their work and love what they do, so much so, that on the day of move in, his punch out guy, William, told me to “take care of [their] baby” and I knew he meant it. They pour their hearts into their homes and it shows by the “wow” elements he creates in each room and the custom details right down to the finishes and fixtures. “We had been given Doug Maggard's name from a friend whom we trust greatly. From the beginning of the project to the end, Doug exhibited integrity, reliability, and creativity. I would tell him what I wanted and he would figure out a way to achieve it. I can't say enough about how he helped us take our 'ugly-kitchen-contest-winner' into a beautiful and stunning farmhouse kitchen. He also helped us build a gorgeous barn-beam mantel in the adjoining living room. We used reclaimed wood from an 1809 farmhouse to build a beam that separates the kitchen and living area. It's just amazing. We have done so much to decorate from the pictures I posted (had to meet the deadline). I feel like it belongs in a magazine. We are so proud and owe so much to Doug for helping us realize our dreams.”
