She took my (attempts at explaining) my style and turned it into an actual vision. She gave me solutions to using the space which I had been defeated by and saved me a lot of money on bad furniture decisions. The contractors Emilie brought in were great too. A friendly, hard working team I came to know and like well. Before she got to work, I basically regretted buying my house. The house had so many issues and we didn't have a lot of room in the budget, but she delivered a home I never want to leave. She is very friendly and professional, never lets you feel like you're alone. Highly recommend.”

“I utilised Caroline’s two hour consultation service (£95) as I desperately needed some advice and ideas for my neglected 1930s hallway. As I don’t live locally, I gave Caroline some ideas and photos via text message about what I liked and didn’t like, my preferred colour palate, and what my priorities were. After some questions from Caroline and some very useful exercises looking at existing spaces and colours, and how we used the hall, she offered some simple solutions which were easily implemented. Simple things like changing the positioning of the existing lighting made a dramatic difference. Caroline then compiled a mood board for me on Pinterest with ideas for paint colours, storage solutions and suggestions for light fittings. She also made recommendations on how I could achieve a modern and coordinated hall that tied in with the existing 1930s features, yet wasn’t overly ‘matchy’. This was complemented with detailed information about sourcing items and recommending paint finishes. Caroline very cleverly sketched her ideas onto my original photo to give me an idea of what my hall could look like. This was really invaluable in helping me ‘see’ my new hall before I started work. I felt that Caroline very quickly ‘got’ what I was after. She was really friendly & approachable, responsive and offered really helpful, practical and straightforward suggestions. She didn’t impose her own tastes and encouraged me to develop my own. Initially I felt that I didn’t really know what I wanted but after conversations with Caroline, I began to gain confidence. I cannot recommend Caroline’s service highly enough. She was great fun to work with and the entire process was really enjoyable.”

As a creative person who loves design I had been struggling for a while trying to decide on what would work, and I had managed to overwhelm myself with creating endless Pinterest boards which only added to the confusion. Lisa expertly navigated my moodboard and suggested details, finishes and style ideas that I hadn’t thought of; pulling out colours and textures from images I liked and translating them into real ideas. “Last year I had some time in-between 2 jobs and decided to build something that I always dreamed of - a garden studio. This was quite a challenge but I really enjoyed it. Where I needed help the most was in decorating the finish product. I'm good with a drill, but when it comes to choosing colours, I'm at lost. And Jo came to the rescue! The brief was simple. I wanted a modern urban man cave with plywood and all that cool Shoreditch style. Jo first selected the main colour which is a deep blue, and some amazing William Morris wallpaper. I was a bit sceptical about the latter but the end result is fabulous. She organised some shelvings and storage with oiled OSB doors, suggested leaving the raw plywood flooring and helped me selecting a nice Scandinavian desk. The end result is exactly ... me! “We were at the start of a large side return kitchen extension when I got in touch with Alpine Rose Interiors Ltd for help. I was feeling overwhelmed by the size of the new room and all of the options available to me for the kitchen, utility and living area.
