“Mr Robertson was worth every penny! He was instrumental in guiding us through many hoops when it came to renovating our listed cottage. He was able to give us good ideas and took the heat out of all the overwhelming paperwork that was essential for the job. He liaised with Exmoor Park and was able to deal with any hiccups in a calm and professional way. He was always polite and explained things to us in layman terms when necessary. Mr Robertson worked to our finances and was always "on the case" as it were. Without him, the cottage would not look as stunning as it is today.”

“We required an architect that had a sensitive and respectful touch when dealing with a property of over 300 years. The requirement was to design a two and single story extension in a sympathetic yet current way. Modernity of space was essential. The incorporation of several levels to provide increased head height and tie in with the existing building was to be a giant three dimensional jig saw puzzle. Christian took this on with both hands and I was confident that he would provide us with a cohesive and balanced result. So it proved. Obviously there were tweaks along the way, largely to satisfy the planning authority. Christian dealt with these imposed changes in a most professional manner and through him the end result is highly successful. Even allowing for the modifications the final plans were on time and right on budget. I am indebted to him and the person who put his name forward.”

“We asked Simon to help us re-design a 1960's bungalow which was dated and needed re-modelling. Planning was difficult as it was in Green Belt and would not give us the increase in size we required. Simon advised us to go down the Permitted Development route which increased the bungalow from 1300 to 3200 square feet. His design was creative, modern and introduced some wonderful innovative features. He was patient, understanding and sympathetic to our requirements and we now have the most wonderful family home which has exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend him highly enough!!”
