TV in a bedroom

I'm lucky enough to have a large bedroom. I have an enormous bay window and two other widows on either side of the chimney breast. Our bed is between these two windows opposite the door. I don't like TV beds ...all that leather doesn't fit with the Victorian style of the room. Currently the TV is on a set of open shelves at the foot of our bed - I can't fix it to the wall as the walls are so far away and we wouldn't be able to view the screen unless we had a massive TV which again won't suit the room. This means the ugly back of the TV is in full view as you enter the room- vile! I need something that looks good when viewed from the front or the rear. Help please!
