Garage conversion vs conservatory

We have spent the last 4 years slowly doing up our house, but now that we have 2 children we really need a playroom (mainly somewhere to store toys, a small sofa with a wii when a bit older and a table for painting) For various reasons i don't want to do a full extension. I will be converting a small part of our garage to a utility room so i'm wondering if i should do a full garage conversion or add a conservatory as a playroom? We are also planing to move in 5+ years so need to bear resale in mind. I'm sure most families buying a 4 bed house expect a garage? But would a conservatory ever me usable all year round? Please help me decide!
