Can't decide what to do with our music room wall, help please!
Comments (22)Hi Philip You can hang on wall whatever you like i guess. I would start with a question, is your room soundproofing sorted? After the whole room sound insulation you can then put on wall number of different styles of acoustic panels. And make that way your own art. They are made flat poster look likes or textured like recording studios. I would start with that. Then there are many companies doing large prints so you can use your own photo or picture or notes to make your own personal wallpaper. Just an quick idea anyway:) Kind regards Radek...See MoreCan’t decide on light or dark floor in bathroom
Comments (29)Hi Tommy-LEE, both the light and dark tiles you’ve shown look very good. My old bathroom, I put in dark grey whilst my bathroom now, I’ve got light grey. Both bathrooms have a lot of light and light and dark both worked well. The biggest difference for me is actually maintenance as in how dirt and watermark shows up. We’re a barefoot household with two dogs and I like to maintain almost like a 5 star hotel. Somehow light grey doesn’t show up dirt as much when we vacuum just once a week. With the dark grey tiles, I had to vacuum more frequently, which isn’t great as I work long hours during the week. Apart from the colour, the difference between the tiles is that the dark tiles we had was smooth and light one we’ve now is more concrete like with texture. That might be a reason. In addition to the look, if ongoing maintenance is something you’d like to optimise, worth taking account how the colour and texture affects it....See MoreCan't decide on a bathroom wall colour
Comments (6)Well the room is east facing so is not the brightest apart from from early morning, but too be honest, I don't mind if it's a bit dark as we will have decent lighting in there. I'm not really drawn towards the green tbh, although I can see that it could work well. One of the problems I'm having is that I chose the Purple Brown for the vanity unit when I thought we would keep the walls China Clay Deep, and had also planned to paint the built in cupboard in the same shade, but now that everything is in, I really want to go darker on the walls but don't know how to work that in around the unit without it clashing or getting "lost". I'm considering LG Rolling Fog (Dark maybe) or maybe Roman Plaster. Of course, it doesn't have to be Little Greene paint, I'm just trying not to give myself too much choice or I'll never make a decision!...See MoreCan't decide between two plans.
Comments (2)I like both but prefer the angled plan. It gives you a larger patio space for the dining area where as with the other, some of the patio to the top might be wasted space if the area is primarily for storage etc...See MoreJ&G Design Studio Ltd
