Kitchen before and after
Comments (21)Thanks very much boundsgreener. My last small dilemma is what to do with the hall entrance which is part of the kitchen. It looks bland and clunky, but is a pretty small area. I have already ordered a radiator shelf to neaten up the area under the mirror. Obvious things that look ugly are the pipes and the fuse box. I'm thinking if getting a cabinet for the fuse box, but the pipes are hard to box in as there isn't much room on the floor by the skirting. What would anyone else do with this area?...See MoreBefore and after of a country kitchen and utility
Comments (14)Thank you, Sarah, I'm glad you like it. The kitchen was supplied and installed by Lacy-Hulbert Interiors Ltd. The owner is an interior designer and she had some strong aesthetic ideas we had to meet. We collaborated on design and produced a bespoke kitchen to meet the requirements. Best wishes, Iveta...See MoreBefore & After - Kitchen Renovation in West London
Comments (6)What a transformation, you must be so pleased with it! I think you made 100% the right decision with the open shelving, it definitely gives the illusion of more space. Really clever how you switched the sink and cooker around, it gives you so much more 'Prep' space to the left of the cooker. Enjoy your new kitchen, Thanks Spencer Marchand Kitchens....See Morekitchen fitted before or after flooring if having UFL?
Comments (5)Hi we have moved kitchen to back of house and laid UFH albeit on concrete base. Floor needs to go down first, blank panels under where the floor units and any island units will be, then a thin screed on top before laying something like Amtico or other lvt. We laid parquet flooring and had to follow the same procedure. To save money and time laying the parquet under the units as we did it all ourselves we put large pieces of osb on top of the screeded blank panels (where the floor units were going) so that there was a flat surface for the units to be fitted. You wouldn't have much depth on LVT so could use marine ply perhaps which is a lot cheaper than Amtico under your units....See Morenot applicable
