Living Room advice

I'm looking for advice on more cushions,rugs & anything else that might pull existing scheme together . Current cushions are part of couch ,in hindsight we should have just gone with plain ones !

Hi Beckie. You can put orange and yellow together, I've found a pic for you which should work with your neutral base. I like the way they've used a couple of darker accents to break up the warm tones. You could perhaps use the orange as the secondary colour so go for curtains with orange in with mustard as your accent, will see if I can find a couple of pics. Another colour that works really well with grey and mustard is teal or petrol blue. I've found a couple more geometric papers. I also like colourhappys idea of a textured paper, there are lots of faux grasscloth ones around and I like the rather expensive blue one I've pictured but the colour isn't true in this pic

I agree with your friend and to a point Pavillion Broadway. It's hard to tell without seeing the room. I wouldn't go for white gloss because it doesn't match anything. Grey as above would match the sofa and all your chrome fittings, table, lamp etc will sit lovely with it. I wouldn't buy a white and chrome lamp, it's the white that's not sitting right for me. Plain chrome to match the coffee table would be better. I agree with your friend though and keep an open mind on matching the sofa legs with a dark wood unit, otherwise they'll not tie to the room unless you had dark wood picture frames or something else with dark wood, which also works as an idea. I think the chrome coffee table will go with the dark wood, as long as you purchase something modern looking, and you could also get. Try the Dakota range at Homescapes lots of dark wood there, all shapes and sizes. Or maybe, If you still want to put some white in there to keep things light and airy to match your preference of the white and chrome lamp, then this unit from Wayfair, by Chateau Chic, as the legs are even a similar shape to those on the sofa.Chateau Chic Display Unit I also found a chrome and dark wood table lamp, you could have a grey lampshade! from Lighting at Home or the viking lamp from Dar -Viking lamp Same applies, just change the shade.

Hi. It's a beautiful room. Assuming you don't want colour I'd add this cushion by Oka and team with grey velvet (pic also showing cushions in situ!), maybe with a less formal layout including square and oblong cushions? I'd also add a textured throw over the arm of a sofa or chair. For me personally the room is just a little symmetrical. I've added a couple of pics of ideas for the coffee table, not these exact things but use different materials and height for interest. A shagreen tray might work well though. I'd add a tall potted plant in the bay. I might also add another table lamp under the art, it will be cosier for the evening. I'd add a patterned shade, again try Oka or pooky, with a metallic base. Maybe try grouping the photo frames and add an ornament or 2? As I say though they're just personal thoughts as the room is lovely!

Hi, Sulking Room Pink and a tan leather sofa could be a lovely combination. I think that the pink might be a bit too dark if you're aiming for a lighter, brighter room? Choose a sofa that is on legs, so you can see the floor continue under it. Will make the room feel larger. I'd paint the TV cabinet white. Do you have space for a chair? Perhaps a rattan one with (faux) sheepskin and a cushion? I found this sofa that might be worth looking at?
