Hi all, So we are looking at purchasing this property. It has an upstairs with four bedrooms but all with sloping ceilings. That will need some attention although probably not worth considering the expense of raising the roof so it's the front appearance that we are challenged over. At the rear it has a large stunning garden, so it has lots of plus points. Any thoughts/similar pictures? Internally we'd be going for a smart modern interior so would love an exterior to match or at least be smart! Thanks in advance Noel

All of the projects are very impressive, the transformations are all pretty amazing and should definitely provide inspiration to anyone looking to do similar projects. I was personally torn between the country kitchen and the sloping garden, in the end my vote went to the sloping garden project, the transformation from a blank awkward looking area to such a cleverly designed and attractive space is amazing.

Hi, anthracite grey with cream rendering is a very nice contrast and the tones compliment each other well. (Sorry, the pic is sliding doors not bifolds) Grey doors with white windows is not a faux pas so don't be put off... Finally, two-tone doors are an option if you want to match the lantern, having grey or black outside and white inside, however I always think this looks a little odd when the doors are open as you see the alternate colours together, and the inside of the frames on the hinges too. Horses for courses though. There are options for every taste out there.
