Help! What colour/colours to paint the house and windows??
Comments (10)Thanks Jonathan. I’m not totally adverse to the yellow and perhaps your right less yellowish window might help crisp up. I like the warmth statement and blending with greenery that current colour has but it needs painting badly and so having moved in last year feel need to make a change and loose yellow. I suppose as it is tired and everything in the house is either yellow or green (avocado) and tired!!! I’ll look at greys with off white windows as you suggest.........See MoreExterior paint colours for Edwardian house

Comments (8)I think a continuation of the white that is on the top part of the house would set of the lovely colour of the windows. Something like sandtex 'cotton belt' or bedec 'old white'. Alternatively, a monocouche render in a light colour would look fantastic too and set of the grey green window colour. On the paint manufacturers website There is a colour scheme for painswick which shows a lovely creamy coloured cill. The timbers are a lovely feature too so perhaps just a freshen up along the lines of the existing colour. Maybe it's time to drive around your area and look at the colourways of the houses that you admire and just be a copy cat 😊 It's a lovely house. Comments (7)Hi @Sonia My house currently looks like this and I find it looks drab, especially after the morning sun has gone over the house. Some colours are masonry and some are not. However, I know that with Dulux, you can mix most normal colours with their Weathershield masonry paint. Thanks....See MoreJ B
