Accent chairs to go with leather sofa
Hi all
I've taken the plunge and ordered a new sofa for the living room. It's a teal leather 3 seater and we've order the footstool too. Due to the size of our living room we couldn't fit the 2 seater as well, so now I need to find some accent chairs to go with it. I would like something cosy and comfy. Any suggestions people, for style and for colours to go with please? Thank you all.

Comments (1)I think tan leather would look good with the mango furniture. I'm not sure that mid century would complement your furniture, Chesterfields are fashionable and fine for modern homes so you could go down that route. Decor wise with tan leather cooler colours work best - blues, greens and greys. Comments (4)Since the room is a bit small my recommendation would be to get a lighter fabric armchair. Perhaps will a small pattern to introduce an element of surprise? I'm not sure his style, but I envision a small geometric two-tone grey or creamy/white. I'm all about mixing textures to enhance the senses. Hope that helps!...See Morevelvet or leather sofa

Do ceiling & wall lights have to match? 4 years agolast modified: 4 years agoHi, I love your sofa! I'd go for something neutral. Grey, cream, beige or putty, and for fabric. You can bring in colour with accessories like cushions, art, rug maybe. Difficult to say which chairs are the right size for your room and whether you'll find them comfortable, but I think that something like these will go very well with your sofa. First one is Westelm, second Orla Kiely (Barker & Stonehouse) and third Made.

Have you had a look at Loaf as they now do a few which should complement the sofa. As you mention comfort they’re the first that spring to mind. The first 2 are my favourites. Ignore the colours as they have a big selection but you could look at a shade of pink, grey, taupe, a lighter teal or orange (need to go back and check their shades but I think they do a couple of oranges!)

Hi all, so we've narrowed it down to a few choices we found in DFS. We're going for comfort n colours we've compromised on are either light grey/burgundy /cinnamon (like a burnt orange)... grey is practical as neutral but the burgundy n cinnamon are wow...what are your thoughts please? We'd get two chairs, same design n likely same colour...

Just looked at the DFS site and put some of the colour options together with your sofa. Ignore the chair, go with what you find the most comfortable one and which one will fit the best in your space and leaves enough space to walk around. To show you the Burgundy and Cinnamon (of those two I prefer the cinnamon), Latte and Grey.
