The hubby and I converted my sons old crib into a bench
Comments (6)Hello Medina, I absolutely love the way you have styled your son’s bedroom - it looks very trendy and those rustic storage boxes really complete the look. This is such a creative idea and what a beautiful way of keeping hold of such a precious item for many years to come? Hope your son enjoys his new reading chair! Comments (20)Does anybody have photographs of steps down to rear extension? My plan is to have a side entrance into a large hallway with steps down to the rear extension. Not sure whether to knock the wall down also the create a inside balcony and maintain the Hallway ceiling height in to the extension. The extension would be living / kitchen / dining area. If anyone has any photographs of similar projects to help me visualise it, that would be wonderful. thank you!...See MoreHow to tile this step?
Comments (11)Many thanks for all the feedback. So the plot thickens. I took off the "skirting" and there is basically just a void underneath for some pipework - images attached for reference. I'm assuming in order to tile this i'd probably need to box in the area first. Probably screw a baton into the floor or something and affix a bit of wood (ply?) On a separate point i wonder if it's worth bringing the level out into the main hallway a little? Edging on the step i agree is a must - either a tile edging or the oak nosing i think would both work. Thanks again for the feedback....See MoreUser
