Comments (8)Hello suani60, Well another suggestion would be to have a complimentary look to that of the living room but in a lighter shade.. So you have a subtle nod to the living room which is not too far away! I tend to think that whilst you may want contrast in the property, for a cohesive look, it's better to have some continuity.. You could also just continue the colours... have a maroon floor, Cream cabinets and possibly maroon splash back.. With a really chalky cream like whitening by little greene, it could be lovely.. Or Maroon floor, maroon cupboards at low level and cream at eye level.. With a translucent maroon glass splash back.: ))...See MoreKitchen ceiling, floor and splashback colour
Comments (3)re ceiling height - if you paint it a darker tone rather than white and perhaps even come down the walls a little it will visually bring it down. see pic attached of a 3m high ceiling we designed a scheme for including the full-length curtains with matching colour change....See Moreworktop and splashback colours
Comments (5)Hi Carol, we've done your colour scheme quite a few times of late for various clients, so I know it will look stunning! As to how our clients have approached your dilemma - they've each taken different approaches. A couple have still gone with more "coffee & cream" similar shades, and then used bolder colours in the accessories to add more vibrant splashes of colour or texture. A couple have added a very subtle hint of sparkle to the splashbacks to "lift" them - think pearlescent shimmer rather than glitter! - while on the alternative colours front, dusky grey/blues and heather/mulberry shades of greyish purple can look wonderful - understated, elegant opulence; nicely on trend, but likely to still look great in 10+ years time. Let us know what you eventually choose - and post pics :-) Caldicot Kitchens...See MoreConfuse about glass splashback colour
Comments (9)@Man- Thanks for your advice. That was our first thought but we are afraid if that will look odd . I believe same shade ( which is dulux soft stone) will look different when painted on glass than on wall, am i right?...See MoreIsla Cherry
