What color countertop should I use in my kitchen that has white appliances and white tile floor and oak cabinets

Hi Sandy! Take a look at our various color options for our Dimensions line. I would suggest one of two options: something in golden color with lots of contrast against the white cabinets and backsplash: I like Golden Crystal, Magma Gold & Cream Leaf. The other way to go is a clean all-white look - for this I'd either go with a white quartz (like Caesarstone's Misty Carrera) or white carrara marble. If you are going to do marble in your kitchen, make sure to at least get honed material - if you're in the DC area, we do a special acid-wash finish to keep etching stains away.

Agree as well, drywall would look better. Also it will give a bit more character to with the design of the drywall work at the upper left ceiling!

Filling a gap next to counter top sink

As above, the sink is supposed to look like that, the same with baths of that fashion. If you fill in the gap that side, it may look odd on the other side. You really need a smaller basin so that the gap around it is larger to enable wipe ups. The other choice would be to have a counter top sink with a back and a small side edge so that they fit in to the corner like this:- It looks like it's next to a piece of MDF, so hopefully it's not fitted yet as that needs painting and sealing otherwise it will soak up the water and swell.

Hello Melissa. We get asked this all the time! Each piece of marble is so unique, with beautiful veining, which simply cannot be copied when it comes to a composite. However, Silestone 'Lagoon' & Caesarstone 'London Grey' tend to be P&P clients favourites. Another design trick to get some of real marble into your kitchen is to use a Simple white or grey composite with a lovely real marble splash back... I would only recommend this behind a sink though. Hi, do you have photos of the space? Is it a light or a dark room? I would personally choose a white or light grey quartz or something like Silestone. Maybe a marble vein in it, like Calacatta Gold. You need to get some samples to see the colours in situ. But if it is a very light filled room, you could also go for a darker granite or quartz.

I would use a light color counter. Try to pull some of the white from your appliances, which will be the closest to the counters. Granite is a good choice if you also, want to pull the color of your cabinets into the counter. Be careful some of the granite can be very expensive. However, they do have remments, if you don't need large pieces, which can save you $$$$, if you go for the more exotic colors. Good luck.
