This project was an extension and redesign of a very small kitchen and larder. The two rooms were merged together and extended, with a new supporting beam and a new window and new French doors to new outdoor steps created. This large kitchen is designed to entertain and cater for 20 guests or more. With 2 large sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, a large larder and large crockery and china storage units. The large chandelier was custom made to include a drying rack for herbs and the extendable kitchen table and matching wine store cupboard were sourced in France. Bespoke paint colours were chosen to coordinate with the blinds, the Carrara marble and curtains. The roman flagstone limestone floor was chiselled and antiqued by hand to look like it was salvaged from a chateau.
