We were responsible for the design, tender and project management with full scale gutting, remodelling and decoration of this Victorian terraced house. The clients' briefing was to create a mid-century inspired interior. Initially we recommended several structural changes to the house to optimise the use of space and light according to the use of the rooms. We swapped the top floor master bedroom for an office with bar and a bedroom was converted into a luxurious master bathroom. We hired a structural engineer for the planning process to remove chimney breasts on two floors which created valuable space and flexibility for full re-design of the kitchen and the new master bathroom. All bespoke furniture was designed in our studio and created by our contractors. We sourced all the materials, furniture and fabrics including vintage lighting from hundreds of suppliers in the UK and abroad.
